 Vibrating sifter / vibrating seperator is used to seperate fine to medium grain bulk material in dry separation and liquid-solid separation.

Vibrating Sifter / Separator

PMS VIBRO SIFTER ® is a vibrating sifter/separator for fine to medium grain bulk material in dry separation and liquid-solid separation.

Sieving process is essential in various industries for sorting intermediate material or final product to required particle size, allowing further processing or direct use. Vibrating Sifter is widely accepted as an efficient and economical sieving device with its easy handling and minimum maintenance requirements.

Theory of Operation

PMS VIBRO SIFTER ® consists of a base frame, a vibratory motor, an out-of-balance weight assembly and screen structures. The base frame is made of stainless steel supported by four swivel nylon casters for easy mobility. All contact parts and screen are made of stainless steel SUS 304. 

The material is fed through hopper at the center of the machine. Clamping rings ensure secure seating of machine cover, screen structure and base frame, which have flanged edges especially for this purpose. Hopper lid prevents dust from entering into the machine. Removable ventilation port cover allows inspection during sieving. 

Re-meshable screen frames held in tension provide surfaces that are vibrated through both the horizontal and vertical planes about the center of mass. The gyratory vibration of the machine is generated by eccentric movement of the out of balance weight assembled on motor drive shaft. The screen motion can be adjusted for precise matching to the characteristic of the bulk material and the desired performance. It is therefore possible to achieve gentle screening or aggressive separation with high output. 

Screen is changeable to suit different application and different particle size requirements. The screen structure and vibratory motor are supported on isolating springs, to minimize vibration transferred to the base frame and permit low-noise operation.

Oversize discharge port and undersize/ proper size discharge ports can be adjusted to suit the factory layout and process flow. Additional screening section can be fitted, if required, utilizing a fine wire mesh for the removal of dust and fines.
